Our Story

Two hearts, one love.

Emmanuel was in town for an away game when a mutual friend dragged him to Jennifer's gallery opening in Midtown. He asked about one painting for forty minutes. She knew he wasn't really there for the art. Four years, two cities and one very patient long-distance phone plan later, we're the Davises.

The Proposal

On the rooftop where we had our first dinner, Emmanuel hid two hundred white roses and our families behind a curtain. He got down on one knee (which, at 6'8", still made him about Jennifer's height) and asked. She said yes before he finished the sentence.
